The Installing Officer was National Commander Roman Rakowsky
Post 31 immediately became active in the affairs of the Boston Ukrainian American community. Members of the Post welcomed the crew of the sailboat Tovarish in the sail to Boston in 1992.
Private Nikolaus Zozula, the Post Patron, was killed in 1969 while serviing in Vietnam.
Post 31 remains active in the Boston community.
