Boston, Massachusetts Post 31

The Nikolas Zozula, Post 31 was organized in October 1991, and received it's UAV National Charter in February 1992. Post 31 is comprised of members who served in World War I, World War II, Korea and the Vietnam War.

Our first officers were:

• Walter Michajliw, Post Commander
• Lubomyr Szczudluk, Vice Commander
• Walter Boyko, Adjutant
• David Prochnick, Judge Advocate
• Stephen Kostecki, Trustee/Quartermaster

The Installing Officer was National Commander Roman Rakowsky

Post 31 immediately became active in the affairs of the Boston Ukrainian American community. Members of the Post welcomed the crew of the sailboat Tovarish in the sail to Boston in 1992.

Private Nikolaus Zozula, the Post Patron, was killed in 1969 while serviing in Vietnam.

Post 31 remains active in the Boston community.
