On Memorial Day each year, local UAV posts honor deceased Ukrainian American Veterans by placing flags upon their graves. We place markers on gravestones both to honor our fellow veterans and to help make it easier to identify the graves of veterans.
The markers are small, flat, plastic disks measuring one inch in diameter. For deceased Ukrainian Veterans (i.e. veterans of the Ukrainian Armed Forces), we place a yellow marker on the gravestone. The marker has a yellow background with the words “Ukrainian Veteran” printed in blue around the perimeter and a blue Tryzub image in the center.
The back side of each marker is coated with a pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive. The adhesive is protected by a peel-away liner that can be easily removed at the time of application.
Please specify quantity when ordering. Markers can be purchased in quantities of 25, 50 or 100. If you wish to purchase smaller quantities, please contact the UAV Quartermaster directly.
